NOW ACCEPTING SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS

To promote the preservation, awareness and appreciation of our environment, the Friends of Willapa National Wildlife Refuge offers scholarships to students pursuing careers in fish and wildlife management, environmental education, conservation and related fields.

This year there are three $1,000 scholarships available to qualifying students. These grants are available to graduating seniors in Pacific and Wahkiakum Counties. To apply, contact your high school's scholarship coordinator.

What kinds of benefits do I receive when I become a member of the Friends of Willapa National Wildlife Refuge?

All Friends of Willapa National Wildlife Refuge members receive the following as part of their membership:

Tax deductions on membership and additional contributions as permitted by law
Quarterly Willapa Tidings newsletter
Invitations to members-only appreciation events
Voting privileges for Friends' board positions and for bylaws administration
Volunteer opportunities

Patron members and above receive invitations to special events, guided tours / hikes, and skills workshops.
